Computational Linguistics and Information Processing
The following is a list of several important steps for most new CLIP Lab members. You should follow these steps after you've been named as an RA or you've been invited to join a research project by a professor.
Getting Set Up at UMD
- Get an UMD ID (lobby of the Mitchell building, bring photo ID)
- Get wireless access by activating your UMD Net ID: http://www.oit.umd.edu/new/
- Activate your UMD email account at https://cgi.oit.umd.edu/cgi-bin/account/activation.cgi
Getting Set Up in UMIACS and CLIP
- Request a UMIACS account at https://intranet.umiacs.umd.edu/intranet/accountRequest/form.htm
Please indicate that you will be sponsored by a CLIP faculty member. If you already have a UMIACS account please check with UMIACS staff (staff@umiacs.umd.edu) to make sure that the account has access to CLIP resources.
