Maker Space Manager System

Sandbox is a member of the UMD Makerspace Initiative (MSI), a campus-wide group of more than 20 MakerSpaces that endeavors to bring broader access for all students.

One important MSI initiative is the development of the MakerSpace Manager system (MSM) which we use to track access to our space and ensure that our makers are trained to use the tools they intend to use. The MSM system (formerly named LabSwipe) is still under development.
