Delta 40-694 - 20" Variable Speed Scroll Saw

Description

The scroll saw is the ideal tool for making very fine and curvy cuts in wood. While the scroll saw excels at intricate work such as cutting jigsaw puzzle pieces, it is also widely used for more general cutting tasks because it is one of the safer power saws in the woodshop.

Tips & Tricks

  • It's always a good idea to clearly mark your cut lines on your workpiece or on a template you glue to your workpiece.
  • When cutting a complex shape, be sure to plan and cut a sufficient number of relief cuts to keep the blade from binding.

  • Blades - The primary consumable for this tool are blades. Be sure to use an appropriate blade for the work you are performing. If you are unsure about how to replace a blade, ask for assistance.
