On September 4th 2019 at the first General Business Meeting held in the new Singh Sandbox Makerspace, all present participated in an exercise to begin the creation of shared values for all members of our makerspace community. The list below was transcribed from the post-it notes generated during that exercise.
Values Suggested by our Managers
A community
A place where everyone is welcome and there isn’t a dumb question.
A place where all ideas are considered
Where people with passion inspire people looking for passion
A place where I can try things I have never done before
A place to collaborate with people you wouldn’t normally talk to
Hub for creatives
A place where you can come in with no knowledge and become an “expert” in something later on.
