DeWALT DCS331 Cordless Jigsaw

Description

The Jigsaw is a versatile tool that allows you to cut complex shapes out of large materials. Ideal for situations where you need to make a large intricate shape or circle. A host of available blades allow it to be used on a variety of materials, from wood and metal to even plastic sheets.

Training

Training is required to use this tool. The training module for this tool can be found here.

Tips & Tricks

  • It's always a good idea to clearly mark your cut lines on your workpiece or on a template you glue to your workpiece.
  • When cutting a complex shape, be sure to plan and cut a sufficient number of relief cuts to keep the blade from binding.
  • Watch out when cutting curves with tight corners or angles. Pushing in the saw at a tight angle can cause the blade to bind, twist or snap, all of which can lead to injuries.
