The handheld router is a great tool for adding finishing to your woodworking projects or cut slots into the material. The changeable bits allow you to round-over edges, cut rabbets, make slots or flush trim in any way you want. Routers can also be helpful when you're trying to cut big holes into material or duplicating intricate pieces by using router jigs and/or flush trim bits.
