The University of Maryland and the UMIACS Helpdesk will be closed from Monday, December 24th through Tuesday, January 1st.

===UMIACS Monthly Maintenance Window Thursday December 20th 2012 8pm-12am===
A short month because of the holidays, so we are sorry for any inconvience. We will still require all machines to be patched and rebooted.

All UNIX/Linux machines in the institute will be rebooted during the
maintenance window (RHEL5, RHEL6, Ubuntu). Services such as IMAP, web
servers, and the print service will all see small interruptions while
machines are rebooting.

All Windows machines will reboot during the maintenance window.
Windows services such as Exchange, printing, etc. will see small
interruptions during the maintenance window.

All Mac machines will also reboot during the maintenance window.
