Chrome/Chromium

  • Enter =about:plugins= in the address bar.
  • Find the Java plugin and click the =Disable= link.

Firefox

  • Enter =about:addons= in the address bar.
  • Click the Plugins tab on the left and find the Java plugin and click the =Disable= button on the right hand side.

Safari

  • Enter the menu, Safari > Preferences
  • Click the Security tab (Picture of a Lock) and uncheck the =Enable Java= checkbox

Internet Explorer

  • Enter the Tools Menu (Gear icon in upper right corner) > Internet Options
  • Click the Security tab and clicking the “Custom Level” button at the bottom of the window
  • Scroll down in the “Security Settings” box until you see “Scripting of Java Applets,” and click the “Disable” or “Prompt” radio button.
