Chrome/Chromium
- Enter about:plugins in the address bar.
- Find the Java plugin and click the Disable link.
Firefox
- Enter about:addons in the address bar.
- Click the Plugins tab on the left and find the Java plugin and click the Disable button on the right hand side.
Safari
- Enter the menu, Safari > Preferences
- Click the Security tab (Picture of a Lock) and uncheck the Enable Java checkbox
Internet Explorer
- Enter the Tools Menu (Gear icon in upper right corner) > Internet Options
- Click the Security tab and clicking the Custom Level button at the bottom of the window
- Scroll down in the Security Settings box until you see “Scripting of Java Applets,” and click the Disable or Prompt radio button.
