A Collaborator account is a sponsored provisional account that provides access to UMIACS Applications for non-UMIACS users.

A Collaborator account is a sponsored provisional account for non-UMIACS members that provides access to UMIACS applications such as GitLab, Object Storage, and MediaWiki instances. Collaborator accounts do not provide login access to UMIACS computers or access to networked file storage.
Any current UMIACS Account holder may request a collaborator account through the [https://intranet.umiacs.umd.edu/requests/accounts/ UMIACS Accounts Web Application.]  <br/>
Once the Collaborator account has been requested, the collaborator will receive a one-time-use token which can be used to set their username and password.

A Collaborator account is a sponsored provisional account for non-UMIACS members that provides access to UMIACS applications such as GitLab, Object Storage, and MediaWiki instances. Collaborator accounts do not provide login access to UMIACS computers or access to networked file storage.
