Openlab cluster maintenance

Openlab cluster is scheduled to have maintenance from 10:00am - 2:00pm on Wednesday 1/13/2010. During the time, the cluster may not available all the time.

Do not turn off supported computers over break

Recently Someone from FM sent a message to the campus community encouraging people to turn off their computers before leaving for the Holiday Break.

However The UMIACS Technical staff would like to request that you not do so that your computers can continue to get backed up, get updates and receive the latest virus protections.

If you have any questions or concerns about this, please send mail to the technical staff (staff@umiacs.umd.edu).
