Printing is only available from UMIACS Networks or when attached to the UMIACS VPN.

Differences between our old LPRng print system

  1. To duplex you need to specify -o sides=two-sided-long-edge instead of -Zduplex the same way. -o sides=two-sided-short-edge can be used for the other duplex orientation.
  2. Using the lpr command is available, the lp command is the main supported command and has more functionality.
