UMIACS Monthly Maintenance Window Thursday December 20th 2012 8pm-12am

A short month because of the holidays so we are sorry for any inconvience. We will still require all machines to be patched and rebooted. Attached is an iCal event that you may add to your calendar of choice for reminder of the maintenance window.

All UNIX/Linux machines in the institute will be rebooted during the maintenance window (RHEL5, RHEL6, Ubuntu). Services such as IMAP, web servers, and the print service will all see small interruptions while machines are rebooting.

All Windows machines will reboot during the maintenance window. Windows services such as Exchange, printing, etc. will see small interruptions during the maintenance window.
