===UMIACS Linux Systems will reboot Thursday 1/13/10 at 8:00PM===
Due to a critical security vulnerability was revealed for Linux systems running RHEL5 (CVE-2011-0004), all affected Linux systems will be installed with a new, secure kernel version. All affected systems will be rebooted this Thursday, 1/13/2011 at 8:00PM. A list of affected machines can be found [[LinuxRebootList-2011_01_13|here]]. ===Comcast DNS Issues===
We are currently experiencing issues with Comcast home internet in PG county not correctly handling DNS resolution for UMIACS hostnames, that can seem to be affecting connectivity to UMIACS. Please see [[PublicDNS]] for more information.
