QuICS, or the Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science is a partnership between the University of Maryland (UMD) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Located at the University of Maryland just outside of Washington, D.C., the center advances research and education in quantum computer science and quantum information theory.
