Drive for desktop is an application for Windows and macOS that lets you quickly access Google Drive content directly from your desktop file explorer. Drive for desktop also automatically syncs local files and directories of your choosing to the cloud in the background. This allows for users to be continuously backing up their data as they create it or modify it on their local machine without needing to manually upload each file to their Google Drive.
